Abra-Catastrophe! was the first TV movie from the television series The Fairly OddParents. It first aired on July 12, 2003, and released on video three days later. Timmy Turner celebrates his first "Fairy-versary" (anniversary with fairies) with Cosmo and Wanda, during which he is given a magic muffin that grants the wish of anyone who takes a bite out of it. An important difference between this muffin and a normal wish is that it's a "Rule-Free Muffin," which means that desires like wishing for more wishes become granted, and the muffin doesn't discriminate among its eaters--anyone and everyone who bites into the muffin can get a wish. Because of this muffin, monkeys take over the world, and then Mr. Crocker does the same.

About a year later, a second TV movie, Channel Chasers
, was shown.

Abra-Catastrophe! is currently available on VHS and DVD.

In production order, it's divided into 3 parts: Part I (the first 22 minutes), Part II (the middle 22 minutes), and Part III (the last 22 minutes).

Plot

When Timmy is told of a Fairy-versary, a day that celebrates having kept his fairies for one year, he is delighted, and given a magic muffin- with one bite, it can grant any rule-free wish. What Timmy doesn't know is that adults can use it too! And not just adults can use it, he's soon to find out. When he takes it to school and it falls into the wrong hands, he tries everything to get it back. When it gets mixed up with about a few thousand other muffins on a muffin day, Timmy is frantic to find it.

In the cafeteria, a monkey, named Bimpy, is caged and watching the food-muffin-fight, and Timmy feels sorry for him and lets him out. But as Timmy continues to search for the muffin (with Crocker having caught on the plan and also after the muffin) Bimpy actually catches the muffin, and takes a bite- and suddenly, the whole world is transformed, leaving monkeys the rulers of Earth!

Timmy then suddenly looses his Godparents when Jorgen announces to all fairies that Da Rules say they have to be Godparents of the "dominant species" on Earth- which are now monkeys! Bimpy ends up getting Cosmo and Wanda as godparents! (Here, a "re-run" of the Fairy Odd Parents theme song is played, only with a twist, like, instead of "Timmy is an average kid, that no one understands," they sing, "Bimpy is an average chimp, that no one understands." The song can be heard on Butch Hartman's website, ). Timmy (oddly enough still remembers Cosmo and Wanda) follows Bimpy to try and get him to unwish everything. Luckilly, he is able to- but the bad part is that Crocker finds the muffin, takes a bite and wishes he could catch a fairie. And the closest fairie around is none other than- Wanda!

Timmy and Cosmo now try and fight Crocker- and Cosmo shows up completely ripped and pumped up, saying that without Wanda he decided he'll work out, get strong, and save Wanda. But Cosmo gets captured, too! But with some special presents Timmy received at his fairy-versary from various fairies, he is able to get Crocker and his parents trapped in a room. Timmy then realizes there's only one way to fix everything and keep Crocker from being supreme ruler of the Earth- he had to get rid of Cosmo and Wanda. He yells out loud, with his parents as witnesses, that Cosmo and Wanda are his godparents. They disappear, and Crocker's power is gone, leaving him vulnerable to be beaten up by his parents.

However, Timmy finds there's only a bit left of the magic muffin, and he eats it, wishing Cosmo and Wanda were his godparents again- and his wish is granted, they re-appear. Timmy wishes none of this had ever happened and no one remembered any of it. Cosmo and Wanda fix it, and everything is back to normal.

Everything seems to be going all right until Jorgen Von Strangle shows up in Timmy's room and says that, even though everything is fixed, he still broke Da Rules, and told his parents that he had fairy godparents, therefore he would take Cosmo and Wanda away. He asks Timmy for any last words before he takes Cosmo and Wanda away for good. Timmy still has his forget-me-knob door knob, so he yells, "Catch!" and throws the doorknob at Jorgen, and it hits Jorgen in the head. He forgets what he was doing, and asks Cosmo and Wanda, who say that Jorgen was going to reassign them to Timmy- which Jorgen does, and leaves.

Timmy reminds them that he "just got fairy godparents", so Cosmo and Wanda set up a huge stage with lights, saying, "I'm Cosmo," "And I'm Wanda," "And we're your fairy godparents!" Timmy hugs them and says "And I wouldn't have it any other way!"
