Movies - The Head of Janus

The Head of Janus (Der Januskopf) was a 1920
silent film directed by F. W. Murnau. This adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's novel Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was one of the earliest to reach film. As usual, Murnau didn't bother to seek permission from the Stevenson estate before producing this film, changing the names of the principle characters instead.
