The Hot Spot is a 1990 American drama/romance film directed by Dennis Hopper and starring Don Johnson, Virginia Madsen, and Jennifer Connelly. It's based on a book by Charles Williams.PlotHarry Madox (Johnson) moves to a small Texas town and gets a job as a local used car retailer. He looks for an opportunity to rob the local bank.
