| The Journey of Natty Gann is an American movie that was released in 1985 and directed by Jeremy Paul Kagan. The movie, set in the 1930s, tells the story of a young girl, Natty Gann (played by Meredith Salenger). Her father leaves her with a guardian in Chicago while he goes to the state of Washington to find work in the timber industry. Natty leaves her guardian to follow her father. Along the way she encounters various obstacles. She also befriends a wolf who travels with her for much of her voyage. Cast
