The Ladies Man is the title of two unrelated U.S. films: one from 1961 and the other from 2000.1961 versionThe 1961 release is a film comedy that stars Jerry Lewis, Helen Traubel, Kathleen Freeman, and Hope Holiday. It was directed by Lewis and co-authored by him and Bill Richmond.Lewis plays Herbert H. Heebert, a young man who loses his girlfriend, swears off romance, and then takes a job at a genteel women-only boarding house, run by a matron with the improbable name of Helen Wellon-Mellon. Lewis, as the director, shoots some of the scenes using an innovative cutaway set so that several rooms are simultaneously visible. It later inspired the set design of Jean-Luc Godard's Tout va Bien. 2000 version[ Visit the complete Wikipedia entry for The Ladies Man ] Some related entries: Count Yorga | Aerial image | Alive | Hercules | Ghost House | Man of the House | King Arthur | Grumpier Old Men | Alien Nation | Educational film | Electric Apricot This page is based on the copyrighted Wikipedia article The Ladies Man; it is used under the GNU Free Documentation License.
