The Last Castle is a 2001 movie starring Robert Redford and James Gandolfini.

Plot

Eugene Irwin, a Lieutenant General was court-martialed, stripped of his rank, and sentenced to a maximum security military prison. Irwin's defiance and confrontation evoke respect and then resentment and hostility from warden Colonel Winter, who runs the prison with an iron fist. Setting out to break Irwin's rebellion and galvanize the other prisoners to rally behind the general in his new mission - to seize control of the prison and remove Winter from his command. The men imprisoned in the prison have been told they are no longer soldiers but are about to prove they can still fight a war.
