| The Long Riders is a 1980 Western movie, produced by James Keach, Stacy Keach and Tim Zinnemann, and directed by Walter Hill, which told part of the story of the Jesse James gang. The film was notable for casting four sets of actor brothers as the real-life sets of brothers:
The film's plot followed the gang's history fairly well, but omitted their early career as guerilla fighters against the Union Army during the later stages of the American Civil War. It showed in graphic detail the fateful shootout in Northfield, Minnesota in which several of the gang were killed trying to rob the bank. This film also features an uncredited appearace by Ever Carradine, daughter of Robert Carradine and neice to David and Keith Carradine.
