| The Naked Truth (also known as "Your Past is Showing") is a 1957 British film comedy starring Peter Sellers, Terry-Thomas and Dennis Price, and produced and directed by Mario Zampi. Written by Michael Pertwee, the film tells the story of Nigel Dennis (Price), publisher of a scandal-sheet, who runs a profitable sideline in blackmail. He attempts to squeeze money out of various characters, by threatening to expose their embarrassing secrets; however, some of his victims will not take such treatment lying down, and try to deal with the blackmailer. Sellers plays TV celebrity Sonny MacGregor, who uses his "mastery of disguise" to great comic effect (his disguises are generally seen through by everyone he encounters). Terry-Thomas' Lord Mayley is an insurance fraudster who falls foul of Dennis. Peggy Mount, Shirley Eaton and Joan Sims also appear.
