Synopsis

The kitten's father gets sick, so he is enlisted to watch the kitchen. When the mice find out that he's the one on duty, they try to take over.

This was first cartoon with Chuck Jones as director. Chuck Jones' first Warner Bros. short as a director. In his new role, he timed the picture, finalized all the writing, produced over 300 layouts, and directed the art design, music, sound effects and animation.

Up to 5,000 animation drawings were used for this cartoon.
