. The movie is about an FBI agent (Washington) trying to prevent several bus bombs from going off in New York City. When a terrorist sleeper cell succeeds in destroying one bus, the CIA steps in and takes charge. However terrorists strike again prompting the Pentagon to send in the Army led by a tough Major General (Willis) leading to an all out war between the three factions.

  • An interesting coincidence or connection with reality is that the tagline for this movie was "On November 6th our freedom is history", November 6th can be written as 11-6 and if you turn that 180 degrees around you get 9-11. There are some parallels between what happened in the movie and what happened in America post 9/11.
