| The Squaw Man (1913), also known as The White Man in the UK, was the first Hollywood feature film ever made. The title went on to become the only movie successfully filmed three times by the same producer/director (in this case, the director was the legendary Cecil B. DeMille in his first assignment); a new silent version was created in 1918 followed by a talkie remake in 1931.
