Timecode is a 2000 drama, directed by Mike Figgis. The film follows several groups of people in Los Angeles as they interact and conflict while preparing for the shooting of a movie.

The film was shot in one continuous take that lasted about 100 minutes. Four camera crews followed four sets of actors simultaneously as they interacted and followed their own separate or interconnected storylines; the screen was divided into quarters and the four shots were shown at the same time. Dialogue was largely improvised, and the sound mix of the film was designed such that the most significant of the four sequences on screen dominated the soundtrack at any given moment.

The movie was shot on videotape, which was transferred to film for theatrical release, but the VHS and DVD releases included the original videotape format version of the film.

Approximately 15 takes were filmed. The DVD release includes the first take as a bonus feature. Additionally on the DVD release, viewers have access to all audio tracks to allow for custom sound mixing, as opposed to the selected audio segments that mark the finished film.

Elements of the film's style — particularly the segmented screen device — were later used by the TV series 24.
