| Transatlantic Pictures was founded by Afred Hitchcock and long time associate, Sidney Bernstein at the end of World War II. Together they planned to produce films intermittently in Hollywood and London. Unfortunately after disastrous returns from two of Hitchcock's earlier movies, Transatlantic Pictures folded in 1949.
