Movies - Troll 2

Troll 2 is a 1990 horror movie by Claudio Fragasso
under the fake name of Drake Floyd. The main plot is about a family trip in which a young boy named Joshua is chased by man-eating goblin-like monsters in a town called Nilbog ("Goblin" spelled backwards, as Joshua realizes). The cast includes Michael Stephenson, George Hardy and Margo Prey. The film was produced under the working title Goblins, and has no direct connection to the Empire Pictures film Troll
.

The noticeably low-budget Troll 2 (The costumes consist of potato sacks with pillows stuffed up them augmented with Halloween masks) is considered a cult classic by people who enjoy B-movies, as it is unintentionally (or perhaps intentionally) funny. It has found a place among IMDb's of all time, and is one of the worst rated on the list not to have been featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

One infamous scene in the film involves an incident in which the family is temporarily frozen in time, except for the young son, Joshua. Joshua sees his family about to dine upon a feast prepared for them by the goblins. Joshua is informed by the ghost of his grandfather that this food will turn his family into goblins, and he has a short time before they become unfrozen to find a way to prevent them from consuming the food. Joshua stands upon the table and proceeds to urinate on the food, mere seconds before his family are unfrozen; they look upon the table with disgust, shocked at what he has done. Joshua's father takes him into a back room and reprimands him for his action, showing his son a letter from the owners of the house they are staying at, giving one of the more memorable quotes of the film: "Do you see this writing? Do you know what it means? Hospitality! And you can't piss on hospitality! I won't allow it!"

In the end, the family escapes the domain of the goblins and returns home. Joshua, upon entering his own house, discovers that the goblins are waiting for them, as he sees his own mother being devoured. The goblin looks at Joshua, smiles, and asks, completely out of sync, "Would you like some, Joshua?"
