| The Ultracons are a subfaction of Decepticon Transformers commanded by Ratbat in the Dreamwave comics. After Optimus Prime and Megatron disappeared in a space bridge accident several million years ago, the Decepticons split up into several factions. The Ultracons were dissolved upon Megatron's return. The Ultracons included Birdbrain, Bonecrusher, Catilla, Chop Shop, Hook, Long Haul, Mixmaster, Quake, Ransack, Scavenger, Scrapper, Squeezeplay, Submarauder and Venom. Of these, Catilla later became an Autobot.
