Movies - Waco: The Rules of Engagement

Waco: The Rules of Engagement is a 1997 documentary directed by William Gazecki about the conflict in 1993 between the Branch Davidians, an unorthodox Christian group, and the FBI. It was nominated for an Academy Award.

Different cuts of this documentary, ranging from about 90 minutes to 165 minutes long, have been produced. The version available today on video is a 135-minute cut. (A longer "Producers Cut," briefly sold by producer Michael McNulty under the auspices of his Citizens Organization for Public Safety, was forced off the market by the executive producers, Dan and Amy Sommer Gifford.)

Michael McNulty would go on to make Waco: A New Revelation, reflecting his continuing investigation into the Waco Siege.
