| Warrior is a film currently under production, directed by Gavin O'Connor about the story of the warrior queen Boudicca (also known as Boadicea). After her husband Prasutagus, King of the Celtic British tribe the Iceni died, the Romans plundered and looted; raping her daughters and flogging Boudicca. Forging an alliance of other British Tribes Boadicea led a revolt against the Romans, sacking London in the process. Eventually however, her alliance was defeated and she committed suicide.
