| Waterloo Bridge is a popular Broadway drama written by Robert E. Sherwood. It was made as a B&W film in 1931 and directed by James Whale. The story is about a ballerina sinks into prostitution when her husband is reported killed in World War I. Mae Clarke played the role of Myra Deauville, a chorus girl while Kent Douglass took the role of Roy Cronin (an American soldier under Royal Canadian Forces).
