| Welcome to Mooseport is a 2004 movie starring Ray Romano and Gene Hackman. Hackman plays Monroe Eagle Cole, a former President of the United States. Cole retires and moves to his beach house in the fictional city of Mooseport, Maine. Romano plays Handy Harrison, who is a local plumber. After the town mayor dies, the town council decides that Cole should run for mayor. Harrison, not knowing that Cole is running, decides to run for mayor as well. As tensions rise, because Monroe starts to date Handy's girlfriend, things get worse as Monroe's ex-wife arrives.
