documentary film about the Woodstock rock festival, directed by Michael Wadleigh and edited by Martin Scorsese.

Awards

The film won the Academy Award for Documentary Feature and was also nominated in the Best Film Editing and Best Sound categories. In 1996, the film was deemed culturally significant by the U.S. Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry
