| World Without Sun (Le Monde sans soleil, 1964) is a French documentary film directed by Jacques-Yves Cousteau. The film was Cousteau's second to win an Academy Award for Documentary Feature, following The Silent World's win of the 1956 award. In World Without Sun, Cousteau and his team film deeper in the Red Sea, going nearly 1,000 feet down in a specially-constructed bathyscaphe.
