| Yaaba (1989) is African director Idrissa Ouedraogo's second film. The film is set in a small african village. Billa is a ten year old boy who makes friends with an old woman called Sana. Sana is an outcast. Everybody calls her a witch but Bila calls her 'Yaaba' instead, meaning 'grandmother'. Sana's medicine saves Bila's cousin, Nopoko when she gets ill.
