Yamina Benguigui (b. April 9 1957) is a French-Algerian woman film director renowned for her films on gender issues in the North African immigrant community in France. She is the first French-Algerian woman to direct a feature film.

In an industry where women directors are rare and Arab women filmmakers are nonexistent, her work has earned praise from the Arab community.
