Yogi's Great Escape is a telefilm produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions as part of Hanna-Barbera Superstars 10 in 1986, and first broadcast in syndication in 1987. It stars the cast of The Yogi Bear Show and several other Hanna-Barbera characters as well.

Synopsis

At the park, Yogi Bear and Boo Boo find three little bear cubs abandoned. Adopting them, Yogi and Boo Boo find out that the cubs eat a lot and try and find some food for them. Meanwhile, Ranger Smith discovers that the park is over budget and has to close down. He goes and tells the news to the bears and Yogi is devastated to learn that he and the other bears will go to a zoo. Not wanting that, Yogi, Boo Boo, and the cubs escape the park in Yogi's car that he made from scratch. Ranger Smith pursues him with the assistance of Trapper, an animal hunter, and his dog Yapper.

Arriving at a tree house, the bears befriend three boys and hide out in their tree house. Ranger Smith, Trapper, and Yapper, find out about this and pursue them again to the Old West. The bears take on disguises by wearing cowboy hats. Quick Draw McGraw is sheriff of the town and mistakes Yogi and Boo Boo for two bear bank robbers that look exactly like them. The bears are later locked in jail but are liberated by three cowboy kids who are friends with the tree house kids. They pursue the bandits, who have hijacked Ranger Smith's jeep and are making off with the loot they've stolen. Both are captured and locked up (Quick Draw was asleep at the time and didn't notice he now has the real bandits locked up). The bears thank the kids and drive off.

Yogi, Boo Boo, and the cubs end up in the bayous of New Orleans. It's very dark and the bears find an abandoned steamboat moored nearby. Thinking it could be a good hiding spot, the bears board the boat but are scared by a ghost. The ghost is really Wally Gator, who has the ghost costume to scare away intruders, as the boat belongs to him. After feeding the bears, Wally's alarm goes off and he says "We have dinner pests." This is in the form of Ranger Smith, Trapper, and Yapper. They board the boat,find a ghost (Yogi Bear in disguise this time),are chased around the boat and end up in the kitchen. Yogi's costume falls off and Ranger Smith and the others aren't fooled anymore. Saying the chase is over, Smith orders the other animals out and whoever is still wearing the ghost costume to take it off. Yogi orders the ghost to take it off, believing it to be Wally. But Wally's standing in front of the kitchen counter. Yogi now thinks it's Boo Boo and the cubs but they're hiding under a table. Really nervous now, Yogi can't figure out who's wearing the costume. Trapper isn't scared and pulls it off, revealing.... nobody. Suddenly, an unknown force starts beating up Trapper and the ghost reappears, now really mad. The ghost is real. Yogi, Boo Boo, the cubs, Wally, Ranger Smith, Trapper, and Yapper all run out but the ghost is interested in the humans, not the animals. The men and Yapper jump on the big wheel of the boat and start running, not getting anywhere but moving the wheel fast. The ghost is at the bottom, continuing its moans as it tries to get up. The rope mooring the boat snaps and the boat starts moving, propelled by Ranger Smith, Trapper, and Yapper. Yogi, Boo Boo, the cubs, and Wally evacuate and are rescued by some swamp kids whom are also friends with the tree house kids.
