Young Guns is a 1988 film starring Emilio Estevez, Kiefer Sutherland, Lou Diamond Phillips, Charlie Sheen, Dermot Mulroney, and Casey Siemaszko. It also features Terry O'Quinn, Jack Palance, and Terence Stamp. Young Guns focuses on the adventures of Billy the Kid (Estevez) during the Lincoln County War, which took place in New Mexico during 1877-1878. It was filmed in and around Los Cerrillos, New Mexico, although it refers to cities such as Lincoln, Patricio, and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. It was followed by a sequel, Young Guns II, two years later. A moment in which most will remember is the line "I'll make you famous"

Trivia

Billy repeatedly says "Reap the whirlwind," a reference to Hosea 8:7.
