| In the Japanese continuity of the Generation One Transformers fictional universe, Zone Energy (also known as Zodiac Energy) is an almost mystical power source of which little is known. It can cause destruction on a planetary level. It was used by the creature Violenjiger to resurrect the nine Decepticon generals: Devastator, Menasor, Bruticus, Trypticon (Dinosaurer), Predaking, Overlord, Scorponok (Black Zarak), Abominus, and King Poseidon. Autobot leader Victory Saber was critically injured in a Zone Energy incident which lead to Dai Atlas being promoted to Cybertron leader. Zone Energy was also used to revive Convoy (Optimus Prime) as Star Convoy (Transformers Battlestars: The Return of Convoy).
