| Adam Sweet began fiddling at an early age at New England contra dances and plays fiddle in the central Massachusetts "Celtic" band Woodkerne. He also plays viola and cello, and is known for making a 20" viola, or "chin cello," look like a normal-sized instrument. He has been instrumental (pun intended) in bringing high quality 5-string acoustic instruments into the hands of North American fiddlers from his contacts in the Chinese violin industry where he travels frequently.
