| Alasdair Fraser is a Scottish fiddler. He is one of the leading artists featured by Culburnie Records, and spends much of his time in the USA whilst teaching at the Valley of the Moon fiddle camp in California. Adept in various Scottish idioms, in recent years, with cellist Natalie Haas, he has helped to reconstruct and revive the Scottish tradition of fiddle accompanied by "big fiddle," or cello.
