| Amy Wadge is an up and coming folk singer/song writer from Bristol, England, now living in Cardiff, Wales. Released her first single 'The Great Pretender' in 1992 at age 16, reaching no. 75 in the UK charts. Winner of 'Best Female Solo Artist' at the Welsh Music Awards 2002. Her surname is pronouned 'WOJ' which is why she called her debut album WOJ (released in 2004). In 2005 she was the first artist ever to release a dual language single (same song, simulaneously released in English and Welsh languages). The Welsh language version charted at No. 9 in the Welsh charts. Her latest album 'No Sudden Moves' was released in early 2006.
