| Andrew Parrott (b. March 10 1947) is a British conductor, founder and director of Taverner Consort and Players, a period instrument ensemble, choir and orchestra based in London. Currently, Parrott is music director of the New York Collegium in New York City, New York. Parrott is known for his work with Joshua Rifkin and his book The Essential Bach Choir supporting Rifkin's theory of one-voice-per-part performance of Bach's vocal works.
