| Antoine Tamestit is a French violist who is rapidly becoming one of the top violists of the younger generation. Mr. Tamestit, who studied at the Paris Conservatory, has performed at such venues as the Royal Concertgebouw, the Vienna Musikverein, and Carnegie Hall. He has taken first prize at the 2000 Maurice Vieux International Viola Competition, 2001 William Primrose International Viola Competition, and 2004 Munich International Music Competition. As of 2005/06, Antoine Tamestit is on tour in Europe.
