Musicians - Athol Guy

Athol Guy (born January 5 1940) at Colac, Victoria, Australia, is one of the members of the Australian pop-folk group The Seekers. He plays the Double bass.

Post-Seekers, he had his own variety series on Australia's 7 Network: "A Guy Called Athol." 1971 saw him elected to the Victorian Parliament as one of its youngest members, winning three terms with an ever increasing majority, before he returned to the commercial world as a corporate consultant.

In recent years, Athol has invested in Hanging Rock Winery and West Rock Farm, a health and lifestyle centre.
