Bamboo is a Filipino alternative rock band formed in 2002 by Bamboo Mañalac, the former vocalist of Rivermaya, after a 5-year hiatus in Los Angeles, USA. The members are Francisco "Bamboo" Mañalac (vocals) (married), Ira Cara Cruz (guitars) (single, with one daughter), Nathan Azarcon (bass)(single and the brother of comedian Hyubs Azarcon), and Vic Mercado(drums)(married with kids). Bamboo won Band of the Year in the MTV Pilipinas Awards and NU Rock Awards in 2004.Current Members
