| Caushun (real name Jason Herndon) is the first black, openly gay male hip hop and rap artist to be signed to a major record label in the United States. He was interviewed as part of a feature article in the 23 May 2002 issue of Metro Weekly, a weekly LGBT magazine for Washington D.C.
