Cee-Lo (born Thomas Calloway on May 30 1974 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an African-American hip-hop, funk, soul, and R&B musician. He is best known as a member of LaFace Records act Goodie Mob, and has recorded two successful solo LPs. Among Cee-Lo's solo hits are the singles "Closet Freak" (2002) and "I'll Be Around" (2003), produced by and featuring Timbaland.

One of a number of artists to successfully record as both a rapper and singer, Cee-Lo is as well known for his funk and soul styled singing voice as he is for his high-pitched rapping. He has appeared as a featured singing vocalist on songs by artists such as Common, Carlos Santana, Royce Da 5'9", Twista, OutKast, Seeed, Black Eyed Peas, Danger Doom, Cunninlynguists and Trick Daddy, and sings background vocals on labelmates TLC
's #1 hit single "Waterfalls".

He is also known as a songwriter. One of his co-compositions, "Don't Cha", became a hit in 2005 for The Pussycat Dolls featuring Busta Rhymes.

Cee-Lo is currently working on a collaboration with DJ Danger Mouse called Gnarls Barkley. Their first album, St. Elsewhere, is set to be released May 2 2006. He is also working with all the members of Goodie Mob to make a new Goodie Mob CD.

His daughter Sierra can be seen on an episode of the MTV television series, My Super Sweet 16 and has a song named after her "Young Man (Sierra's Song)".

Cee-lo is collaborating with producer Jazze Pha to release an album on Columbia Records called Happy Hour.

He is also featured in the Black Eyed Peas song "Like That".
