| Chris Reifert (born 1968) started out as the drummer of Death when Chuck Schuldiner moved to California. He recorded the infamous Scream Bloody Gore album with Death. After Schuldiner wanted to move back to Florida, Reifert decided to stay in San Francisco. In 1988 Reifert started his own band Autopsy. In this band he played not only drums but handled the vocals as well. Autopsy split up in 1995 and Reifert and his band mate Danny Coralles formed a new band in the same style called Abscess. He also did side projects under other names, including The Ravenous, Doomed, EatMyFuk and performed guest vocals on the Ravenous, Murderous album by the highly Autopsy-inspired Swedish death metal band Murder Squad. Further guest appearances include Immortal Fate and Nuclear Death. Chris Reifert is also known for his quite sick sense of humor which can be seen in his interviews and lyrics. Bands
