Conrad Stephen Susa, born on 26 April 1935 in Springdale, Pennsylvania, is an American composer. He was educated at Carnegie Institute of Technology and the Juilliard School, where his teachers included William Bergsma
, Vincent Persichetti
and, so he says, P. D. Q. Bach
. He is currently Chair of the Composition Department at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

His compositions include choral works, incidental music for various plays and a number of operas.
