Dave Nizaam Baksh (aka Brown Sound or Hot Chocolate) plays lead guitar in the Canadian punk rock band Sum 41. He was born on July 26, 1980, in Toronto, Ontario (Canada).

Life

Baksh was born to Canadian immigrants from Guyana. He is married to Jenn (Janice) Baksh and enjoys bands such as Metallica, Led Zeppelin,The Eagles, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Yngwie Malmsteen.

Career

Baksh joined Sum 41 as the third member, after Deryck Whibley and Steve Jocz formed the band in the summer of 1996. He is the band's main musical driving force. In addition to being the lead guitarist, Baksh also provides back up-vocals. He generally plays a PRS Single Cut or a Gibson Les Paul. For his pedals he uses MXR Effects, a Digitech Whammy, and Dunlop wah Pedals. Also he uses Marshall Amplification

Baksh goes by the name Pleasure in Sum 41's alter-ego band Pain for Pleasure.
