Musicians - Dave Jones

== Dave Jones == Hardcore Drummer

Dave Jones is an often overlooked, yet influential early hardcore punk drummer. His best known work is as the drummer with Agnostic Front on their highly-regarded debut album Victim In Pain.
He also appears on the lesser-known but highly influential album by Mental Abuse, Streets of Filth. Streets... featured the NJHC classic song Sock Woman, which was covered on releases by NJHC bands Adrenalin OD and Krackdown. Another cut from Streets..., Do You Mind, was covered on a 7 inch from Australian band Rupture.

Jones was in other early, lesser known hardcore bands;

The Enerjetics (who were opening act for The Plasmatics in the summer of 1980)

Jungle Rot (short-lived noise-core band)

The OutGroup (who played on many east-coast hardcore bills from 1981-83)

Mental Floss/State of Survival
