David "Donut" Donato, male model, known for his involvement in Black Sabbath as singer, after Ian Gillan's leaving. He stayed for a very little period in 1984, since he was fired up by the band because of an arrogant interview that appeared in British heavy metal magazine Kerrang! in the summer of 1984 which included a centrespread of the band with Donato. The "arrogance" likely refers to Donato's statements in this feature that he always saw himself as the ideal vocalist for Black Sabbath, and that his "number two and three" bands for featuring his vocal talent would be Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. However, the article also quotes Donato's girlfriend as saying he was "amazingly unaffected" by getting the Sabbath slot.

Bill Ward gave him his nickname because Donato used to eat donuts during the rehearsal. The Butler/Iommi/Donato/Ward line-up didn't release anything.

Donato later went on to form White Tiger with former KISS lead guitarist Mark St. John. This band released one album in 1987, which is Donato's only known recorded output.
