| Derek Lee Smith (born June 29, 1984), more popularly known as Derek Lee Rock, is the drummer of the third-wave ska band Suburban Legends. Derek joined the band August 7, 2000 and has toured the country numerous times, apprearing with such acts as Reel Big Fish, Goldfinger, and Fall Out Boy. He is endorsed by Drum Workshop, Sabian and Ernie Ball companies. In spare time Derek also teaches music lessons, produces and records songs. In July 2005 Derek started a hip-hop side-project called Lyricle Miracle.
