Mr Kendrick made his conducting debut in Carnegie Hall in a performance of the Verdi Requiem. He has taught at Louisiana State University, the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music, and at the University of Saskatchewan in Regina, where many decades later he is vividly remembered as the most talented and distinguished choral musician ever to have worked there.
