| Ed Robertson (full name Lloyd Edward Elwyn Robertson) (born October 25 1970) is a lead singer and songwriter of Barenaked Ladies. Robertson co-writes most of the group's songs with Steven Page. Born in Scarborough, Ontario, he attended Woburn Collegiate Institute. Robertson won Humber College's inaugural Euterpe Award at the close of the 2005 Humber Songwriting Workshop. When he accepted the award, Ed had just ended his interview with interview television program Distinguished Artists. He lives in Scarborough with his wife, Natalie, and three children (Hannah, Lyle, and Arden). In 2005, Robertson guest-starred in episode 50 of Red vs Blue, voicing the character .
