| Edouard Judas Colonne (July 23, 1838–March 28, 1910) was a French musician and violinist. He was born in Bordeaux (southwest France). Colonne studied at the Conservatory in Paris where he won first prizes in both harmony and violin. In 1858–67 he was first violinist at the Opéra in Paris. He and music publisher G. Hartman founded the Concert national de l'Odéon in 1873. In 1875 he founded the Association Artistique du Châtelet that became known as the Concerts Colonne.
