Elena Juatco (born June 8, 1985) was the sixth place contestant on Season Two of Canadian Idol. She originally was in group two of the season, winning third chair in her round with her vibrant, albeit slightly unhinged version of "Midnight Train to Georgia". She was later invited back for an opportunity to perform on the wildcard show. Her dramatic, and vocally impressive performance of "What I Did For Love" earned her a spot in the top ten. However, her best known performances would be "Mary Jane" and "Early Morning Rain".

Following her stint on Idol, Elena continued her studies at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada where she was a drama major (and also a cast member of Queen's Players.) She parlayed her experience and exposure on Canadian Idol into becoming an up and coming star on the Canadian stage.

In December 2005, Elena played Snow White in "Snow White and the Group of Seven," a Ross Petty pantomime at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto.

CTV has announced that Elena will be a "roving reporter" for the fourth season of Canadian Idol, which will air in the summer of 2006.
