| Erik Norlander is a Dutch musical producer, singer and keyboard player. Norlander was the vocalist of Kayak, produced albums by Lana Lane and Rocket Scientists and guest sung on Ayreon albums. He also has a progressive rock solo project - titled simply Erik Norlander - which has counted with the help of bassist Tony Franklin (Whitesnake, Blue Murder), guitarist Arjen Anthony Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One, Ambeon), drummers Greg Ellisand Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio), celloist Cameron Stone, singers Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Lana Lane, Edward Reekers (Kayak) and Robert Soeterboek (guest singer for Ayreon). He has a remarkable influence from musicians as Rick Wakeman.
