Ernst Mielck (1877-1899) was a Finnish composer.

Life

Mielck was born in 1877 in Vyborg. He started his piano lessons at the age of ten. In 1891 he was sent to Berlin, where he studied music under Max Bruch. Mielck returned to Finland in 1896. He died of tuberculosis in Switzerland at the age of 21.

Music

Mielck composed mostly chamber music. He also composed a symphony in 1897.
