| Gary Beals (born 22 October 1982 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) is a Canadian singer who is best known for being the second-place finisher in the first season of the reality television series Canadian Idol. He is a resident of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. After losing to Ryan Malcolm on the show, he released a self-titled debut CD in August of 2004.
