| Gruff Rhys (pronounced "Griff Rhiis"), Lead vocalist and guitarist in the Welsh band Super Furry Animals, was born on the 18 July 1970 in Haverfordwest, UK and lived in Rachub, near Bangor. Gruff has written songs from a very early age. He played in the bands Emily, and Ffa Coffi Pawb, before forming Super Furry Animals. On 24 January, 2005, he released his first solo album, Yr Atal Genhedlaeth, on the Placid Casual label. Discography;Albums
