Jason Michael Wade (born July 5, 1980) is the lead vocalist and guitarist with the band Lifehouse. Originally from Camarillo, California, Wade comes from a highly spiritual background, something which is shown strongly throughout his music. The fact that both his parents were missionaries meant that he spent large chunks of his childhood away from his native California. His parents eventually divorced when he was 12, the effect of which also features strongly in his lyrics. He owns an array of different guitars, but his favorite and most used seem to be Gibson.

His solo work includes songs featured in the successful motion pictures Shrek and Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!, even though it has been reported he himself doesn't own a television.

Wade married his long-term girlfriend, Braeden, on January 20, 2001. They currently have no children.
